EXILE IN HER OWN LAND
This famous speech given by Martin Luther King in 1963 (three years before I was born) is the inspiration for my latest series of paintings. Strangely relevant to the BLM movement we are experiencing today; racism is still deeply entrenched in the society and policy of America. Each painting is titled from a fragment of the speech.
30″ X 40″ acrylic on canvas.
