The Mud Bus Marin
I’m pleased to announce The Mud Bus Marin has been awarded $12,587 through the County of Marin Community Grants and Investment Program, and received a $1500 donation from Good Earth. This grant will support the Mud Bus, a mobile ceramics-education initiative created in collaboration with the Town of Fairfax, community services programs. As one of Fairfax’s Artists in Residence, I’ll be working with the Fairfax San Anselmo Children’s Center and Age Friendly Fairfax to provide hands-on ceramics education to local children and seniors. We would also like to thank Marin Arts who will be our fiscal sponsor.

My Family is a Forest…..
Last year I was awarded funding for this project from the Multicultural Center of Marin and the Marin Cultural Association.
My Family is a Forest explores and highlights lived experiences of multicultural families in Marin County. The portraits of families I painted during the art workshops sessions were exhibited at the Multicultural center of Marin in a wonderful reception, on August 4th 2025.
I was then honored to be included in The Multicultural Center of Marin opening reception for the grant recipients of the BIPOC grant “Multicultural Marin” art exhibition on Thursday, October 2, 2025, at the Marin County Civic Center Galleries. This event showcases works from over 20 local artists, celebrating the cultural richness of Marin County and highlighting community-connected art.

Community Arts
Artists are agents of Transformation
I consider participation in community arts projects an integral part of my practice. I have envisioned, facilitated, and completed projects in the US, UK, Africa, Haiti, and Brazil. My recent masters degree in Community Arts from Goldsmiths University, London has enabled me to refine my methodology and skill working in the field of community arts.
